Best romantic meal recipes – skilled chefs
Well look at you – you had the option of the Easy meals and Hard meals page and you clicked on the Hard, but best romantic meal recipes page. Kudos for your confidence in your skills – maybe you can give me some tips!
The same advice applies whether preparing easy romantic meals or something more challenging – straying too far from your own cooking comfort-zone and your partner’s tastes is a recipe for disaster. By all means try something a little bit different, but do some research into your partner’s tastes before hand – even the best romantic meal recipes can go down like a lead balloon if you serve up mussels to your shell-fish-allergic partner.
Best romantic meal recipes (1) – Italian Extravaganza
Tomato, red wine, garlic, basil, oregano, parmesan – there are so many great flavors in Italian cooking that it’s hard to go wrong. Starters like steak carpaccio & grilled asparagus, mains like red wine risotto & Oso Bucco, and desserts like tiramisu & tartufo are just some of your options. All washed down with a good bottle of wine!
Best romantic meal recipes (2) – Low Carb for Later Lovin’
Let’s not beat about the bush, a lot of the time the plan is for your romantic meal to lead to you both getting romantic in the bedroom, to finish the evening in style
So what we don’t want is to have your romantic meal turn into a mood-killer by making you both bloated with carbs and with indigestion from a mix of heavy, rich foods. I’ve found a ton of good low-carb recipes here.
Best romantic meal recipes (3) -The romantic breakfast
Hey who said the best romantic meal recipes are for evening meals? What better way to start the day than sneaking out of bed when your partner’s sleeping to rustle up a romantic breakfast? Rustle them up their favorite indulgent breakfast, maybe with eggs just the way they like them, or use some of these ideas.

Hopefully those ideas have got your creative juices flowing. Remember, even though you’re more comfortable in the kitchen, doesn’t mean your meal needs to require you to be IN the kitchen the whole time while your partner twiddles their thumbs! If the recipes do call for plenty of time in the kitchen then get your partner involved – sitting down to a great romantic meal that you BOTH prepared is certainly romantic in itself.
