As I talked about here, coming up with the right words to say when talking to your partner about how you feel about them is tough, for women and men alike. We don’t have Hollywood script-writers following us around feeding us great lines and the most romantic quotes, as awesome as that would be.
Trying to recycle something you heard in a movie or read in a book can go wrong very easily, and smacks of a lack of effort. “You complete me” will make them think of Jerry Maguire, not you!
Most romantic quotes are the ones that sum up love the best…
But let’s not necessarily try to re-invent the wheel every time we are searching for the most romantic quotes when writing a romantic note, card or trying to get something romantic printed on something as a gift for your partner – old guys and girls have been writing about love for centuries, and there are some great, non-cheesy i-love-you quotes and some of the most romantic quotes you’ll find out there that you could use for something special.
Just don’t get confused and start using these quotes in your daily life when talking. Wondering aloud, “Who, being loved, is poor?!” like you’re Oscar Wilde will just make you look weird.
